I'm pleased to announce our next upcoming ITC ride, a bit different
than usual. We'll be teaming up with some expert birders and the
Atlanta Audubon Society to visit some local greenspaces and look for
birds. We'll visit two or three parks and wildlife areas north of
Decatur with plenty of time to sit quiety and spot our feathered
friends. This ride will be as much sitting and bird watching as bike
riding, so come prepared for both.

Meet at the Decatur MARTA station (east plaza entrance at Church/
Sycamore) at 10:00am on Saturday May 22nd. Lunch afterwards, as
always, and we'll be ending back near either the East Lake or Decatur
stations.

Also -- everyone should attend the Atlanta Streets Alive event on May
23rd to see downtown streets opened to cyclists and walkers, without
any cars allowed. See the website for more details:

A quick reminder -- we're going birdwatching this weekend! We'll be
visiting two or three local nature preserves with as much sitting and
bird watching as bike riding. The ride will be pretty short and a very
easy pace, though as always be prepared for riding in light traffic.

Meet at the Decatur MARTA station (east plaza entrance at Church/
Sycamore) at 10:00am on Saturday May 22nd. Lunch afterwards, as
always, and we'll be ending back near either the East Lake or Decatur
stations.

And don't forget -- the Atlanta Streets Alive event is Sunday, May
23rd in downtown streets. See the website for more details:
