Ialso re-tried uploading the file via the Dropbox web site. The blue circle sync icon does display in the web site version. The View Details of the file sync keeps showing varying time durations of how long the upload will take as well as what percentage of the file has been uploaded. The file got to 50 per cent uploaded and showed that it would take less than 10 seconds left to complete uploading. Now the file has gone back to 25 percent uploaded and has 9 minutes left.

BTW - thanks for the link to
www.dropbox.com/downloading. I've now downloaded the Dropbox desktop app for the 3rd time. I've unlinked and relinked the Dropbox desktop app to my computer. I've also ensured that the Preferences are set so that the 'Start Dropbox on system startup' is checked.
Unfortunately none of the solutions have worked so far. I've reinstalled Dropbox desktop app 4 times now. I also increased the Bandwith preference to 'No limit', in case it's a slow upload speed issue.

The folders & files inside the dropbox folder on the desktop - When sync is complete these show the tick which is good. However when syncing it doesn't show the blue syncing icon (it doesn't show any symbol on the folder / file when syncing).
but in outlook i goto attahc an image, i goto my 'dropbox\camera uploads\ folder, and all i see are generic blue icons, not the thumbnail image... how can i select the right attachment if i cnanot see it?
this also happens when i use windows explorer, and i goto 'dropbox\ (any dropbox folde with images in it)
help!
ive got the dropbox sync on, its not paused... it was worknig fine before i had to reinstall. so i know it can work.
For files with the green tick, it's possible that Windows needs to open the file first, or index the folder, in order for the thumbnail to appear. Does this issue only occur for files in the Dropbox folder?

I am a photographer, so not having thumbnail images or having them disappear is not simply an irritant. It makes the program I am paying for useless. From what I have noticed one way the thumbnails seems to 'vanish' if you drag the file onto say an HTML5 uploader for websites. Or indeed into Photoshop. Or use a Photoshop action to pull that image in. This never used to happen. It seems to be since this 'cloud' sync nonsense was slipped in as the default without any fanfare.
If I drag the file onto my desktop, I can see the thumbnail. But I need to see all the thumbnails to edit my photos. The files are showing Smart Sync Local. If I change this to Online Only, and then go back and change it to Local, the thumbnail appears. I can restore the thumbnails by selecting ALL and then going through this process, but it's a bit annoying and a waste of time.
However, your post indicates a version at least 1 step beyond what's published (the Pro 5 is the very first post in the above link), as is mine. I guess a new firmware was recently pushed but the note hasn't been published. Anyways, you're up to date.
The idea that the newest firmware has an issue is certainly possible so stay on support. Any chance you or a friend has another camera that uses the magnetic connector to test on? @JamesC or @ShayneS - any idea what may be going on with the firmware being newer than what's listed?
The Pro 5s is a new model, so it's not surprising that it's not on the print boxes yet. Probably it will be added when Arlo needs to do the next print run (and even then, it will take time for the inventory in the stores to refresh).
@StephenB and I don't work for Arlo and have no access to any engineering departments. I was one of two superusers (the only ones back then), including @TomMac , who flew to San Jose for a meet and greet with Arlo folks including Dawn and Christine.
However, no superuser has any contact with any engineering department. Everyone, including you and I, can contact the Arlo folks here ( @JamesC and @ShayneS ) but that's it. Your only choice is to use any contact with support to raise the issue and keep it in the forefront.
Had an opportunity to actually try this. I took my Pro 5 to the solar panel powering my Go 2 which was showing charging going on. Disconnected the panel from the Go 2 and connected to the Pro 5 multiple times with no success. I would say it's not just you...
For personalized support specific to the Arlo products you own, access Support from within the Arlo iOS or Android App. Simply login to your Arlo App, go to Settings, Support, then select the Arlo product you would like support for.
Let me guess - those icons or group where they are located has been copied from another part of your app, right?
If so - you have to re-create them.
I have similar problem here Icon action now shows as link
I have come to the conclusion that it is a bug but not able to be reproduced on a regularly basis so the bubble team is not attempting to solve the bug. As you mentioned the work around is to place the icons into a group and run the workflow etc. on the group to ensure the element is shown as clickable to a user.
It is still happening to this date. I used feather icons, I thought the problem was in the workflows but after various and various attempts, I realized that the icon was not clickable on hover. @boston85719
thenounproject.com is a great resource! Thanks.
I've just tested a newsletter and sent it to my personal email address but when I received the e-mail, the company logo wasn't showing. It shows just a random icon with the initial of our company Iinstead of the logo I uploaded as the icon of the profile I used to send the newsletter from.
Hi @SJobbsprek! Liek @JWingate2 mentioned, Gmail is pulling from contacts in Gmail or your phone. And if there's nothing, it's the initials. But the article from @Ben_M looks like you can force your logo, so that's cool. I just figured it was something out of our hands as emailers. Thanks Ben!
Thank for the reply. The screenshot is from my Outlook inbox. The account I used to sent the newsletter from is a Gmail address but I sent the test to my Outlook email address. I hope it makes sense.
Recently installed anki 2.1.49 version. I did not have such problem with previous version. But when I installed the latest version, Anki Icon on taskbar is showing plain white color. How can I fix it?
P.s: I tried rebooting my pc and the app, disabling add-ons

The console spit out the problem immediately - apparently there was a problem with the cpptools extension (C/C++ for Visual Studio Code), on which pio depends. I uninstalled and reinstalled cpptools (had to remove platformio ide in the process), and now everything works! Thanks so much!
Perhaps it is a very simple thing but it took me some time figure it out. In Win10, with VScode, using the rigth button of the mouse over the toolbar you can control the icons that appear on it. In my case, PlatformIO was unchecked (I do not know why?). I selected it again and it worked again.
Thank you Gijs, I deleted and rebuilt the icon cache as suggested. No change in my Rhino icons.
Not having problems with any icons other than Rhino. My system including the OS is only about 4 months old or so. I had zero issues with the Rhino icons until I installed r8.
