South Coast newby

This post is to say hello and briefly introduce myself to the group as a South Coast newbie.
We are a family of 6 and have just relocated to South Coast NSW from Hobart. We arrived last Sunday and in the short term have invaded by sister’s place out at Brogo.
We have 3 children in primary and one in preschool. We are now in the process of checking out schools/preschools and rental accommodation in Bermagui, Tathra and Pambula.
Rental accommodation is in short supply, so if anyone in this group knows of a reasonably sized house for rent (12 months) in any of those townships please let me know (I’m scouring the websites and agents as well).
It doesn’t need to be flash (actually we would prefer it if it wasn’t) just big enough to take the family with a degree of comfort and practicality.
Workwise, I have an infrastructure planning and project management consultancy based in Hobart. In the near future we hope to have an office somewhere on the South Coast of NSW.
We consult to State Governments, utilities, local government and developers.
In addition to working on infrastructure I do a lot of organisational strategy and planning, process improvement and workshop design/facilitation. If you need to get a group of people to respond to a problem/opportunity and come up with a plan, I can probably help.
I am currently “squatting” in at 2 Pi Software in Bega while I get established and a big thanks to Liam and Carsten for making me feel so welcome (and for hooking me into this group).
In addition to chasing children and work I like to spend time riding bikes, restoring old bikes (preferably steel frames), fishing and strumming guitars (I have delusions of being a slightly paunchy and greying rock god in a band I will call the “The Cranky Parents”. It’s never too late I guess).

Tim,
Rentals can be hard to find down this way (Pambula/Merimbula). It might be worth joining and posting a ‘wanted’ on the “For Sale, Merimbula, Pambula and Surrounding Areas” Facebook group too.
If you are a road cyclist, there are regular rides down this way – a group of around a dozen or so rides Merimbula to Wyndham every Saturday (6:30am from Merimbula boat ramp) and a smaller group on Tuesday leaves the boat ramp at 7:00am for Eden.
