I have some doubts about the licensing of InterSystems products.  What kind of license do I need to acquire to enable the following scenario:
- A server only for coding the solution.
- A server for testing by the client. Complete scenario, all active connections (adapters Ensemble). Little data traffic.
- A production server. Complete scenario, all active connections (adapters Ensemble). Big data traffic.

I need different licenses for each server?
I can legally use the license from the production server to the other environments?
A "multi-server" license can be legally used for the above scenario?

BTW. What means this options?

Do you have "doubts" or "questions"? It's a little confusing trying to follow what is being asked. In regards to testing, it depends on how you want to test your code. For example, they allow a free single-user license that allows you to do "anything" (that depends on what you're trying to do exactly). You can review that information here. In regards to live environments, you do have to have a license for each server. In all honesty, that requirement is understandable. While some say they need a "test server", you do not, but do need a "test space", which is accomplished by establishing a different namespace.

A multi server license allows you to install Cache on multiple servers, but you are still limited to the total license limits for all servers combined. For example, if you have a 10 process license, you only get 10 processes across all the servers, not 10 processes on each server.

These are questions best answered by contacting InterSystems directly. The Worldwide Response Center can help you get answers.

Also, licenses are not sold by # of processes, but by # of users. So a 10 user license, shared across servers, means 10 users can be logged in across all the servers, not 10 users on each server. Each user can start multiple processes on the server.
