Command to execute Open VMS command without using $ZF(-1)

Hi All,

Can any one let me know the cache class/command to execute the Open VMS command wihtout using $ZF(-1).

Example :

I have used below command to execute Open VMS File editor ( Edit mode in Terminal )

S STRING=  "EDIT/TPU/INIT=XXXX_550689189_INTFILE.EVF XXXX_550689189_EVETEMP.EVF" 

Write $ZF(-1,STRING) 

 I need to execute the same STRING (VMS COMMAND) without using $ZF (OS command).

Please share me if there is any document regarding this issue.
