hello,

I have a really strange issue, and I'm hoping someone here can help.

I am running cache 2007... on VMS and a windows XP desktop which I had the System Management Portal running on for the last year and a half!
and it just stopped working :-(

not I am not able to get to any of the pages or even the setup pages.  I have gone through and restarted IIS, made recommended changes from KB812614 with permissions

here is the screen I am getting
thanks
Paul

Paul -

I would suspect Cache authorization first.  Without knowing more, I would guess the user (perhaps "Unknown User") no longer has privileges to view your pages because of a change in Cache security settings.  Check with InterSystems support.  I am not familiar with VMS security messages but they could be causing the problem too.  Briefly turn off layers of security (resource, file access, etc) to find out which is generating the message.
