Group,

I have a particularly demanding SQL query that I am running for a report. I am running the query through the .Net proxy classes. Because of the length of time the query takes to run the following exception is raised:

InterSystems.Data.CacheClient.Cache Exception: [SQLCODE: <-450>:<Request timed out due to user timeout>]

Where/how can I adjust this user timeout so that the query can complete.

Thanks,

James

James,  to adjust the default timeout parameter:

System Management Portal --> Configuration --> CPS Gateway Management --> Default Parameters (on the left)

and I think you want to double the Session Timeout.

Paul,

I’m not sure this is what I’m looking for. This has nothing to do with CSP as I do not use CSP at all. I am accessing the Cache database via .Net.

Thanks,

James

Hi James,

Have you got any solutions for this issue?

I'm not a developer, but an infrastructure IT Analyst and here we are having the same issue which are being indicated (by our developer team) to be related to our network. But the problem is that nothing has changed in our network and nothing else seems to be having problems of this sort.

If you found any solution for this, could you please answer that to me.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Cristian
