Remote monitoring Ensemble

I was wondering if anyone had successfully managed to configure a remote monitor for Ensemble? I'm looking to see if there are any products that could monitor events such as Ensemble (or the machine it is running on) crashing, disk space being used up, RAM being used up, backups or tasks failing, system failover etc.

I believe I might be able to do this with Nagios (http://www.nagios.com/) or a similar product, but I wonder if anyone has used one instance of Ensemble to monitor another one?
