Hi,

I am trying to setup a simple short circuit fault analysis problem in InterPSS Editor v1.4.04. The single line diagram is attached.

I have tried using the "Distribution, ACSC, ANSI" settings with BaseKVA = 500000 at BaseFreq=50Hz.

I have put in the network feeder as "Utility" with Voltage=11000Volt, SC MVA (3p)=500MVA, X/R (3P)=10, Angle = 0. I do not know what to put for SC MVA (1P) or X/R (1P). I have also set the Grounding as Ungrounded.

For the Transformer I have put the Primary Rating=11000Volt, Secondary Rating=400Volt, X=24.5, R=5, X/R=4.9, X0/X1=0.95, R0/R1=1. I have left the rest as they are default.

For the feeder cable I have put X/1000=0.081, R/1000=0.387, length = 100m, and all other items = 0.

All buses are put as NonContribute.

InterPSS will not allow me to run a Short Circuit Analysis. Can someone tell me what I am doing incorrectly? I have also attached a screen shot of the InterPSS workspace.

Thanks
