In light of the grey legal situation regards Internet gambling in the USA, UK establishment The Ritz have decided to blanket stop taking new players into it's casino, regardless of where they reside. This seems a little strange - as one fourm poster points out it's a bit like "throwing the baby out with the dishwater". One might question why they decided not to simply contine their policy of excluding US players. Speculation is that as Ritz Club Casino is due to shift from the Cryptologic casino software platform to Playtech in the imminent future, that it may simply be a temporary measure that was planned anyway while the switch was facilitated.
