[2] See this letter from lobbyists to U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, which includes a push for tighter intellectual property restrictions. To do so, they cite the controversial Korea–U.S. agreement as a model. This agreement was widely criticised for pandering to Big Media, and forcing U.S. copyright law onto South Koreans unchecked.
