The annual MDG Awards support and raise awareness of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). This year, the MDG Awards will be held on September 19, 2010, at the Waldorf Astoria. The volunteer application to help with the logistics for the MDG Awards are open, deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

Our guest list consists of Heads of States, Government Ministers, Directors and Under-Secretary-Generals
of UN agencies, CEOs and Executives from the private sector, leaders
from civil society, and some highly-esteemed celebrities. It would be a good opportunity to help with the success of the event as well as be around amazing and
accomplished individuals who have made large contributions to the achievement of the
8 UN Millennium Development Goals.

The annual MDG Awards support and raise awareness of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). This year, the MDG Awards will be held on September 19, 2010, at the Waldorf Astoria. We are looking for volunteers to assist with logistical support. AVAILABILITY: We are looking for 50 volunteers to help with logistics on the day of the MDG Awards. CRITERIA: 1. Must be based in NYC or can be in NYC on the day of MDG Awards on September 19, 2010 and September 18th from 2-4pm for orientation. 2. College degree is preferable. 3. Knowledge of the United Nations system and Millennium Development Goals is an asset.
