A) YOUTH ASSEMBLY BLOG

We are inviting Youth Assembly delegates to blog about their experience during the YA. If you are interested in blogging please email cory at co...@faf.org. She will add you as a writer. Will need your picture and bio.

 

B) IYC NEWSLETTER

 

IYC will be writing a newsletter to be distributed at the YA. Articles will include history of YA, history of IYC, and people involved in YA progress. Articles can be 2 paragraphs long. Noted below are only suggestions for articles. Please send your article with related picture.

C) IYC PARTY & FUNDRAISING

 

As discussed in our last meeting, for a fundraising strategy, IYC will throw a party in New York. We are hoping IYC members bring guests to this event. We will be asking for a donation to help IYC members with our events planned for the YA. We are hoping to have the event next week. To discuss this further, please email Asha Castleberry at asha.cas...@yahoo.com.

 

 

D) IYC NETWORKING EVENT

 

As you know, IYC will be hosting an IYC Networking Event at Dag Hammarskjold on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. So far we have discussed the ff

 

1. Hip-Hop MDG to perform

2. 10 min Intro on IYC

3. Open Mic- YA delegates speak out

4. "Speed-Dating for Youth Leaders" - 2 min for to discuss different topics with other YA delegates (country, MDG, projects etc)

5. YA Picture- everyone pose to take picture at the park
