Dear International Youth Council Members,

Please find attached the first issue (attached) of the International Youth Council's newsletter. This newsletter will be produced regularly leading up to the Youth Assembly. The theme of the newsletter will be youth involvement in the Millennium Development Goals. It will also be available online at www.internationalyouthcouncil.com

As you know, we are in partnership with the hosts of the Youth Assembly Friendship Ambassador Foundation to organize the 7th Annual Youth Assembly that will be held during the first week of August at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Therefore, this newsletter will also keep members informed on the progress and update them on the work of our team. We will also make announcements. 

Submissions are welcomed. Please see page 6 for more information.
