Living in Harmony Festival Thank You Luncheon 21st May 2013

I am nominating a few of you who have contributed bits and pieces to the My Study, My Career - International Student Forum 2013 to the City of Sydney Thank You Luncheon.

As much as I would love to invite as many of you as possible, I am aware that there is a number of limits there. Aleem and Kerryn, thank you very much for the support of this wonderful partnership initiative. I am glad that this project has successfully achieved its objectives, as it has added value to the international students (who have attended the event) community experience here in Sydney and New South Wales, best even, it is also run in aligned with one of the organisational purpose of CISA, which is organising international students forum and most importantly, facilitating conversation and network building between the international student community and the stakeholders. 

Of course, as this thank you luncheon is going to be in Sydney, I am aware that you won't be able to attend :)

Hi all,

 

Just a quick update on this. The Thank You Luncheon organised by the City of Sydney for all who have participated and contributed to the Living in Harmony Festival 2013 has gone well.

 

I have attached the Powerpoint Presentation Slides which Khin and I have put together for the team to present it to the wider community.

 

I did also receive positive feedback and show of appreciation from representatives as well as the City of Sydney's Manager for Community Development, Ms. Susana Ng for this session.

 

Many of them are truly stunned with this inaugural students for students run event and as a result, they would like to engage international students more for future projects and initiatives.
