Dear valued student leader and forum ambassador,

One of the Biggest Moments for International Students in NSW

On this critical moment of less than 48 hours from now, it gives me a great pleasure to once again express my excitement to you, as one of the Biggest International Student Event in the History hits Sydney, NSW, Australia at the prestigious venue of Lower Town Hall, Sydney.

The Big Issue?

Since the event of “My Study, My Career” - International Student Forum 2013 was being advertised and promoted, we have received numerous supports and positive responses from various stakeholders from the government, industry and the community sector and most importantly, the student community.

A few days ago, we were also being contacted by the SBS News media reporter who have expressed interest for this event to receive media coverage.

Photographer crew from the City of Sydney Council will also be attending and taking pictures and record of this event.

Why is this event so important and significant?

For the first time in conjunction with the City of Sydney’s Living in Harmony Festival 2013, this international student forum is being jointly organized by the Council of International Students Australia (CISA), Ethnic Communities Council of NSW and iStudent to provide fellow students the opportunity to have a dialogue and a conversation on a range of issues that matter, and for this case on career and local opportunities.

Please find attached is the program for your reference.

Promote to your network?

Few days ago, I’ve personally witness how powerful social media can be in today’s world.

We’ve just created a brand new Facebook event page for this event, and we’ve managed to grab 66 “Likes” within 3 days. Although it’s not considered to be a significant number compared to many other organisations whichhave successfully run professional social media campaign, this amount of “Likes” is just considered to be out of our expectation.

With this, I write to sincerely request you to join us to witness the happening of this prestigious event, and that for your assistance to promote this to your network via E-mail, Facebook and Twitter account (any form of communication channel).

I am confident that with your assistance, we can jointly witness the success of this event takes place and that, be part of this historical moment contributing to your memorable experience during your time in Australia.

Yours sinerely,
Thomson
