I have been an avid reader of the International Shakuhachi Collective
since 1972 and I'm thrilled that members are finally starting to
post.....wait, Slim, I think I got a bite!......

About that fishing, on the BBQ announcement that you left to go
fishing you've got a picture of Brian holding a Taimu and a fish.
That's false advertising, I can't catch a thing with my Taimu. Haven't
tried it for hunting yet though...

Brian doesn't catch fish with his Taimu, he wades out into waist-deep
water, blows otsu-no-ro, and they rise to the surface.

The shock wave kills them, kinda like dynamite.
