OK! here is what I have for now, but I am not done completely.

I put all the info. I gathered from GMID and World Bank, but mostly GMID in a
Word Doc. with the important parts highlighted.

Anyways, as I said I am not done yet.

Hey group,

So I'm a bit confused as to what the prof wants us to PRESENT. From our meeting with him it sounded like he wanted us to present the target segment and market size but that's not what it says in the presentation schedule:

M1: Lululemon to Shanghai

  1. Cultural and economical environment for premium Yoga wear in Shanghai
  2. SWOT
  3. Is the positioning strategy of Lululemon in Canada a viable option for Lululemon in Shanghai?
  4. Should the Canadian origin be used in positioning?

I've attached some points for the powerpoint (they are not in my own words and I'm not sure if it's all relevant for our presentation -- so take/leave out whatever)

Does anyone have any ideas in terms of "props" for the presentation? I'm going to see if I can get some posters made (lululemon manifesto and the lululemon logo -- attached in this email). Handouts for the class/prof (other than the powerpoint handout)?

EIMAN: I don't know if this helps in terms of the Lululemon name origin... http://www.lululemon.com/media/   ~~ company history
"The lululemon name was chosen in a survey of 100 people from a list of 20 brand names and 20 logos.  The logo is actually a stylized “A” that was made for the first letter in the name “athletically hip”, a name which failed to make the grade."

Target market relates to the positioning/international strategy. However, market size really doesn't make sense. My only guess is to briefly give them a number... Nothing to discuss about mrkt size
