[Expatriate]

I created this site with the hopes of generating discussion on the
subject of expatriating and international living.

The governments of the west seem to be bent on a course of self-
destruction. In the United States for instance, politicians are doing
their best to destroy the purchasing power of the dollar, undermining
political and economic liberties, and creating a police state.

I don't know that there is necessarily a better country to move to.
But it seems that there are some countries in Central America and the
Caribbean that are doing something to protect privacy, economic
freedoms, and promote tax competition.

I've also started a website: http://www.liveoffshore.com/ to do my
best to chronicle the current situation and to provide a resource for
people who may be interested in expatriating from the US.
