The class association continues to do great stuff: new ILCA 4 sail just came out, new ILCA 6 sail is under development. For both, they’ve done lots of sail testing to ensure the shape is just right. Our own D24 alum Andrew Holdsworth has been working on a global database of all major parts along with a QR code scanner. 

All this work costs money — so please support it. $45 per year.

Vote Now for ILCA Class Rule Changes 25 June 2026 Voting is now open to approve a major update to the ILCA Class Rules. ILCA is seeking approval of a major update to the ILCA Class Rules to align them with World Sailing’s Standard Class Rules (SCR) format. Given the number of changes required, the vote covers the updated document in its entirety rather than on a change-by-change basis. A detailed schedule of changes can be found here. Voting closes 24 July 2026 and is restricted to current class members. Only current class membership may voite. Membership will be verified.  Check your membership status through ILCA-NA here.
