Andy Hunt Celebration Regatta & ILCA Jericho Masters 2026
Join us for a memorable weekend of racing and celebration at the Andy Hunt Celebration Regatta, held together with the ILCA Jericho Masters, on July 18–19, 2026, on the spectacular waters of English Bay, Vancouver.

This annual event honours the legacy of Andy Hunt while bringing together sailors from across the Pacific Northwest for outstanding competition, friendship, and a shared love of sailing. Whether you're an experienced Masters sailor or a younger competitor, everyone is welcome on the starting line. Masters competitors will be scored within their respective age categories while racing alongside the full fleet.

With competitive racing, excellent race management, and the welcoming atmosphere Jericho Sailing Centre is known for, this is one of the highlights of the summer sailing calendar.

Come race, reconnect with friends, make new ones, and celebrate the spirit of our sailing community.

Who is Andy Hunt?

Andy Hunt was passionate about sailing and dinghy racing. He devoted much of his spare time to the sport, sacrificing countless hours both on the water and in committees, meetings and toiling away by himself in the background to make sure others could have fun. Only after Andy passed away in October of 2018 did the people at Jericho start to realize the depth and breadth of his contribution to our community. We decided to celebrate Andy's memory by hosting a regatta. This coming weekend at the Jericho Sailing Centre is the Andy Hunt Celebrational Regatta. Whether you are an experienced racer or brand new to the sport, let's celebrate Andy's love for our sport by getting out on the water this weekend.
