Dear Past High Sierra Regatta Racers,
On behalf of the Fresno Yacht Club, we would like to cordially invite you back to join us for the 2026 High Sierra Regatta at Huntington Lake. It all began 73 years ago in 1953!
Known for its reliable thermal winds and breathtaking scenery at 7,000 feet, Huntington Lake offers some of the best high-altitude racing in the world. To see what makes this event so special, you can view highlights from last year:
We would love to see your fleet well represented on the water this July. Last year we rebounded to pre-COVID numbers for the regatta with 191 boats participating! Could you please help us spread the word by sharing this email and registration information with your fellow class members and any relevant email lists? Register for Weekend 1 (July 11–12) Moth, Snipe, Day Sailer A and B, Lido 14 A and B, ILCA 7 (Laser), ILCA 6 (Laser Radial), Banshee, RS Aero, Optimist A and B, Vanguard 15, San Juan 21 Spinnaker Fleet and Working Sails Fleet, International 14, Melges 14, Open Centerboard (Portsmouth Rating).
Register for Weekend 2 (July 18–19) Invited classes include: Windsurfer LT, Thistle, Melges 15, Moore 24, Coronado 15, Ultimate 20, Wyle Wabbit, Victory 21, Santana 20, Sport Boats (J70, VXOne, Viper 640, Open 5.70, Melges 20), Catalina 22, PHRF.
