Pacific Life Launches as Presenting Partner of the US Sailing Team
Pacific Life and US Sailing announced a landmark partnership with Pacific Life being named the Presenting Partner of the US Sailing Team through 2028.
The partnership marks one of the most significant sponsorship positions in the future of American sailing and will provide vital support for US Sailing Team athletes as they compete on the world stage. Through the collaboration, Pacific Life will be prominent in supporting all integrations including, athletes and team and gear branding, digital and social media platforms, global competitions, Southern California hospitality events, activations at yacht clubs nationwide, and athlete storytelling initiatives.

Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta
The road to Los Angeles 2028 continues this week as the world’s best kiteboarders and windsurfers descend on Long Beach, California for the 2026 Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta (OCR), with 15 US athletes taking to the waters off Belmont Shore for racing July 13-16.

Volunteer at the LA28 Olympic Games
US Sailing members and friends are invited to apply to serve as Games-time volunteers for the LA28 Olympic Games.
What you need to know:
Most volunteer roles will be based at venues in the Los Angeles area and will not be on the water.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old at the time of application, proficient in spoken and written English, and available to complete a minimum of 10 non-consecutive shifts during the Olympic Games volunteer period.
The online application takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and includes questions about your skills, experience, and interests.
Applications will be reviewed individually. Selection is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
Certified officials who have applied to serve as National Technical Officials (NTOs) for the Games should also complete this Games-time volunteer application.

2026 US Sailing Youth Worlds Team Selection
The 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships will be held from December 11-19 in Vilamoura, Portugal. US Sailing’s International Selection Committee (ISC) will select athletes to represent the United States at World Sailing's premier youth championship.
For ILCA 6, i420, 29er, iQFOiL Youth, and Formula Kite classes, the top eligible finisher in their class at the U.S. Youth Championship on October 9-12, 2026 in Long Beach, CA will earn selection. For Nacra 15 class, the top eligible finisher in their class at the Buzzelli Nacra 15 North Americans on October 10-12, 2026 in Sarasota, FL will earn selection.

2026 U.S. Youth Championship Registration Open
Registration is now open for the 2026 U.S. Youth Championship hosted by Alamitos Bay Yacht Club on October 9-12, 2026. This year's "Youth Champs" is open to sailors ages 19 and under sailing the 29er, Formula Kite, i420, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, and iQFOiL Youth/Junior classes.
