Who is planning to sail the Rear Commodore’s Regatta at Half Moon Bay YC next Saturday, June 27? If so, which rig are you planning to sail (ILCA 7 or ILCA 6)?

Just trying to get a sense of the turnout...

If I go, I will sail with ehichever rig has the most boats…ALSO, don’t forget the Delta Regatta at Stockton sailing club at end of July, I am trying to get them to revise the starting time a little later because the real wind typically doesn’t come up u til the afternoon.

There will be a club evening race on Friday with good at club and camping is allowed in those parking lot or grass.

More details in about a week, it would be great to get Bay Area sailors and Lake Washington sailors to come to Stockton.

Let’s try for 20 plus boats!!

I plan to participate in Rear Commodore's Regatta in ILCA6, and I just registered. You can register from the following link:

The registration fee is $30, with $10 early bird discount until Wednesday night. NOR says "The Race Committee will attempt to run five to seven races”, so this will be a very good short-course race practice with lots of starts. Also, the lunch is included. I hope more people can join. This regatta is also part of the District24 Grand-Prix series.

I am also very interested in sailing Delta Regatta at Stockton Sailing Club. I attended Masters PCC in 2012 held at Stockton, which was my very first masters event (and almost first time to sail outside the Shoreline Lake), and it remains a very pleasant and memorable experience. It was also where I first met Stephen, Emilio and many others :) I would definitely like to return to Stockton Sailing Cub!

Jenny, Packy, Boomer, I’m registered and was planning on the full rig but if you are all sailing the 6, I’ll borrow a rig and do that as well. 

As Toshi said there is a discount if you register before Wednesday. The conditions look like they will be great for 5-7 fun races.

I myself will definitely sail ILCA 6. Stephen, it would be awesome if you could also sail 6, as it is always more fun to have more boats of the same rig on the race course!  However, there might be some other people who might be interested in sailing 7, in which case, please feel free to choose whichever rig you prefer.
