Hi dancers, 

No dancing this Friday, May 15, 2026, but you can dance this Sunday in Ann Arbor, 

and then two more Fridays in May at BACC -  the 22nd and 29th.

Monday dancing is cancelled for the rest of this month.

International folk dancing, Sunday, May 17, from 2 to 5 pm.

Concourse Hall, 4531 Concourse Drive,  Ann Arbor, MI 48108

Instruction for beginners the first hour.  Open dancing begins around 3 p.m. 

This AACTMAD event is pay-what-you-can; $10 suggested.  Please bring a water bottle. Masks are optional.

A photo from the Detroit News.  In case you hadn't heard, a Nazi-inspired group  planned a burning of the Quran in Hamtramck on May 10th.   However, people gathered in protest, including our dancer friend (former mayor of Hamtramck) and this member of the Black Panthers' Honor Guard. More information is available online, but the Hamtramck protest was successful.
