Hi, dancers,
Monday dancing is back at the Royal Oak Center, and dancing is
scheduled for every Monday and Friday in June.
Friday is at BACC on 5, 12, & 26, and at the Clubhouse on June 19.
 A Friday request:
To facilitate accounting, please bring the exact amount for our $10 admission fee
in ten and five dollar bills, and rather than making partial payments
or using one dollar bills, please use an IOU.  (More info follows the playlist.)

Tom taught a Tibetan dance that he saw online,"Dui Xie, and he's including the syllabus in the playlist because the available videos aren't the same as the dance
he taught.
"Dui Xie" is a kind of Tibetan folk ensemble music dating back 700 years, played with the plucked instrument Zhamunie, the bamboo flute, and the fiddle Erhu,
and is often performed with singing and tap dancing.
Below is a " Dui Xie" video that will give you a glimpse of Tibetan dance and a
good look at the Zhamunie, (aka Zhanian, Dramyin, or Dranyen), a traditional Himalayan folk lute. It features a carved wooden body and is used in Tibetan Buddhism and folk music across Tibet, Bhutan, and the Himalayas.

To facilitate accounting, please bring the exact amount in ten and five dollar bills.
and rather than making partial payments or using one dollar bills, please use an IOU.
We're making this request so that our accounting will match our attendance.  With
partial payments the figures don't correspond, and we think that using IOUs will
correct that issue.  Single bills are just extra work. Paying for two people with a
twenty isn't a problem.  Thanks, so much.
