Hi, dancers,
Monday dancers welcomed 2026 with familiar dances, and, for now, dancing is in the
"big room," a real treat. The evening closed with the lullaby, Nyandolo, from Kenya,
a simple, choreographed dance to the music of Ayub Ogado. In January,
dancing weekly on two more Mondays (12,26) and all Fridays (9,16,23,30).
No Monday dancing on January 19, Martin Luther King Day.
The Henry Ford Museum has free admission, free parking, and special events on this day.
Our friend, dancer, and musician, Tom Allen's memorial is this Saturday, JAN 10. 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
