to International Fairtrade Towns
Good morning,

I'm Tabe Jorritsma, member of the stearingcommitte of the Fair Trade
Towns campaign in the Netherlands.
The EU published a call for proposals, for non state organisations,
who can apply for projects on education about development issues. The
17th of februari is the deadline for the 'concept notes' to be send in
to Brussels. Fair Tarde is specifically mentioned in the priorities of
the guide lines of this EU-budget line.
On behalf of the stearing committee I have two questions:
1) Are there Fair Trade organisations who are considdering to apply
for this EU-call for proposals in 2009?
2) Are there Fair Trade organisations which applied for the same call
for proposals in 2008 and got their plans approved bij the EU?

Well, next week we might meet in Lyon, and we are interested to hear
more about experiences of other FTT-organisations wiht this EU-budget
line. We would like to hear/see from you.

I wish you alle good (Fair!) day, greetings,

Tabe Jorritsma
