Hello Zbigniew and others,
As a volunteer in the FTT campaign in Antwerp, Belgium, I follow up a bit on the information of our national (Flemish) campaign and I've noticed that some new smaller towns and villages have become FairTradeCommunities in Flanders, (Dutch-speaking northern part) the last weeks. There should be about 66 FairTradeCommunities now in the Flanders alone.
In Antwerp itself and in the whole of Belgium, there has just been the annual action
Fairtrade@work at May 7th with about 200 companies, local authorities and other organisations which reached about 150,000 Belgian employees! I am proud to be an employee of one of the 10 organisations who have had an award for it! Our city administration has won an award as well as she is trying to raise awareness among her own 14,000 employees and just those people amongst them who can write out public procurements which is certainly very interesting for the steering group!
I'm really looking forward to the launch of the international website as well!
Kind regards,
Nathalie
