Hello,

This list - I think - has heard nothing about first German Fair Trade
town - Saarbrücken. I was hoping to get to know more because of my
limited German knowledge - all I know about it I read on the TransFair
Germany website... So I prepared a little note in Polish:
http://www.fairtrade.net.pl/fair-trade/pierwsze-miasto-sprawiedliwego-handlu-w-niemczech-2700.htm

Have a nice weekend!

Dear Zbigniew, dear colleagues,
sorry, that I did not answered earlier than today. Yes it is
true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We celebrated our first nomination at 2nd of April: the capital of the
federal state of Saarland, Saarbruecken, is the first "Fairtrade-
Stadt" here in Germany . Dieter Overath, Director of TransFair Germany
handed the certificate over to the Mayor of Saarbruecken (regional
capital of Saarland), Charlotte Britz.

You will find some nice pictures on www.fairtrade-towns.de .....

We are very happy :-)

Thanks for the article on your website!

Nice greetings from Kathrin
