On behalf of Intact Finland (Intakt rf / Ehjä ry) and its Nordic collaboration network Intakt Norden, I invite you to take part in this event Wednesday 30 November, at 19:00 (7 pm) Finnish time (Eastern European Time, EET).

In around 45 minutes I will give an overview over policy and legislative developments 2008 - 2022 regarding genital autonomy for children in Finland.

The topic is moving up as a current one in Finland, given that:

- the legislative workgroup in the government, for FGM legislation renewal, will hand over its results, findings and proposals back to the parliament at the end of this year

- the Finnish parliamentary elections will be held in April 2023.
