Proposal to ban Intactivists?

The Droit au Corps proposal about anti feminism as it is currently written would ban myself, Forefront, Intact America, Your Whole Baby, Bay Area Intactivists, Attorneys for the Rights of the Child, Tim Hammond, Steven Svoboda, Lloyd Schofield and several other prominent Intactivist people and organizations from participating in ICASM/The Bodyguards, while branding them as “masculinist antifeminists.”

Needless to say, I am surprised by this proposal. However, before I respond, I would like to understand. Why is this proposal important to those who made it? Why do you want it?

Hello Brendon,

We are sorry to see that the alert issued by Droit au Corps has created tensions and risks of division within our international coalition. The intention was not to lead to any distress but rather illuminate a critical matter - so crucial in fact that unaddressed it could lead to the failure of our shared mission. Nonetheless, we recognise that we made a mistake in the way we posed the problem.

We therefore propose to the members of the coalition to raise the debate to its true strategic level, which is the question of the limits that should be placed on certain collaborations. We have opened up a new thread for discussion to put the debate on a solid, healthy and well-argued footing. We hope that the author of the only strategy book that exists, in the intactivist world, will contribute to a constructive debate that we hope will strengthen the cohesion of The Bodyguards and be the opportunity for a second wave of development of this common good.
