I'm opening this thread to compile a list of personalities who were pioneers or particularly contributor in ending sexual mutilation. The coalition could publish a page dedicated to these people in the form of a value-added, educational and informative "story" about the "history" of the fight against these practices. Perhaps it has never been done, to have a 'story' of the struggle against ALL forms of sexual mutilation on the same page.

For example, this could include people like:

Milos Marilyn (USA 1940-) started campaigning against circumcision with nurses and parents in 1979

I would like to add the following - 

Robert Darby Historian and Scholar (Died March 2019) 
Paul Mason Attorney, Activist, Commissioner for Children (TAS) (Died August 2018) 

These two great men passionately dedicate their lives to the protection of children and served selflessly in promoting equality without exception.
