This Sunday: GIRLS Night OUT!

Hi Ladies!!

It's time for the Int'l Cooking Club to go out and let someone else do the cooking... party time!! Also, the request has been made to have a farewell dinner on Sunday before some of you leave for the summer... our dear Rina is leaving next week and won't be back for a few months. :(  It is up to da "Hungry Housewives" to give her a grand send off!!  

First off--  who can make it this Sunday night, 7pm to ???  

(you wild mothers, you...)

We made reservations for Don Ho's restaurant at Aloha Tower Marketplace at 7pm.  There will be live music, plus other live music at various spots around the marketplace, so we can check that out too.  The menu is American -style and seafood, and if you have the Entertainment Book, then bring your coupon for buy one, get one free!  Hana hou!  

After dinner, those who want to groove n move can go to zanzabar in Waikiki for sizzlin' sundays dance music.  It opens at 9pm and admission is free til 11 and includes $3 parking at the Waikiki Trade Center.  (2255 Kuhio Ave.)  I imagine that there won't be too many people there on a Sunday night... I'm kinda hoping that's the case :) I have NOT been here before as I know little about Hawaii nightlife, but Rina wants to dance, so... it will be an ADVENTURE.  They say "come stylish or not at all" so I think I'll be asking one of you fashionistas of the group for advice ;)

Please reply to ALL to say you can come or if you have any more fun ideas to add to the mix.  We'll carpool and change these plans for better ones as needed!

I know, long time no see. I would love to come out and party with you ladies, but that day is Mother's Day and I will most likely be with my family. Also, I have a final the next morning :(

 

Side note...Jason and I used our coupon there already and we were very disappointed.  The food was VERY average for the high prices. I would not recommend eating there. I would rather recommend using the Kobe Steakhouse coupon or even the Indian restaurant in there.

 

Anyway, just a suggestion on the food arena, but the dancing sounds like a blast! Have fun everyone and I will be leaving for Cambodia in 2 weeks and will be gone for 7 weeks, so I will catch up with you all after that!

Hahaha!! I love how all the advice is good until it gets to the last one about me :P !?!   You are TOO funny :) 

Nora, thanks for the advice, and you'll be missed.  But remember, there's still time to change your mind ;)   Theary and I will call and see what we can do to make reservations somewhere else-- those Japanese steakhouses ARE really fun... stay tuned!!
