Primary Care Week - IMIG speaker ideas?

Hi Guys,
  Jen is organizing the PCW panel in October. She has contacted 6 speakers with no response so far. Do you guys (3rd years) have any suggestions for who to contact. Someone who would be more responsive and potentially interested in participating in the panel. Who was the IM speaker last year?

That's frustrating!  Last year we had "Chou, Peggy" <Peggy...@bmc.org>, - she was great.  If speakers decline, I think it's totally OK to ask them whether they can recommend any of their colleagues.  Dr. Barber would probably also be good for recommendations, and he might even be able to do it himself.

I would also suggest Dr. Borkan (nephrologist) as an alternative option in case there are still problems finding speakers. Its hard to tell just how busy he is, but if he makes time I think he is an excellent role model.

FYI - Dr Chou left her practice. :( I don't know if she is still at
BUSM. Dr Barber might be really good, as he started out in primary
care and went back to it after ID.
