Dear IMIG Leader,
ACP’s IMIG Sponsorship Program provides funding to Internal Medicine Interest Groups in U.S. medical schools. Participating clubs will receive $200 in the fall to help kick-off their activities. Each IMIG group has an opportunity to earn additional funding by recruiting their peers to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011. Here’s how it works:
- Complete the online IMIG Sponsorship Application at by August 1, 2011.
- If your medical school recruits 30% or more of the total student body* to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011, your club earns an additional $2.00** per Medical Student Member.
- If your medical school recruits less than 30% of the total student body* to become ACP Medical Student Members by December 31, 2011, your club earns an additional $1.00** per Medical Student Member.
Please take the time to submit your application for funding today. The process is simple and the rewards are many. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to support your club and internal medicine. If you are not the contact for your school's IMIG club, please forward this communication to the appropriate individual(s).
Best of luck in the 2011-2012 academic year!
Thank you,
Lora Russo
