Replaced the power resistor with one of Jessie's, the ones I got from
lulzbot are wayyyy too big (you called it JustBill). The big ones I
got fit great in Jessie's Bot so I figure it's a fair trade (if it's
not I'll find the correct ones and order them).

Anyyyyyway, after drilling out the hole bigger, I got the resistor
inserted and shimmed it in firmly with copper sheet I had lying
around. I put plenty of the silver PC-processor heatsink greese in
there, I hope it's high enough temp.

I got the whole thing back together and was able to print 3 i-keys
before heading home for the night, the printer in the space right now
should work. It was making a little bit of burning smell, I'm hoping
that's temporary and I don't have to take that stupid thing back
apart.

Happy Printing,
-Alex

I got spare parts today. A nozzle, hot end barrel, tube fittings for
both ends, and two spare tubes (although the tubes look to be a
slightly larger inner diameter, so we'll see).

I may try to install all the new tube-related bits on Tuesday, if I'm
feeling perky. Or I may wait until things break again.

I have a feeling that the wood clamp we made is not going to last that
much longer, my vote is wait for that to break and then fix it. Of
course if you feel the itch, jump in and fix it go ahead, it's your
machine.

Is it possible to print a new block?  Or do the new parts have a better mechanism to grip the tubing?

You could print a part that replaces the cob-jobbed wood block, yes.
Hopefully the new fittings will be more reliable than that though.
They seem to be pretty grabby.
