Hi there,

Firstly, thanks for Intercooler, it's awesome!!

I was wondering if you could provide a quick example that uses the X-IC-Trigger and X-IC-Trigger-Data response headers? I can't find one anywhere.

I have a situation where multiple areas of the page need to be replaced/updated.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks again for such a helpful, time saving product.

Sorry, my bad...for those also looking, there is a live demo at http://intercoolerjs.org/docs.html under the Response Headers section.

It might be worth updating this example though as it's not working as it should.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Joe,

Looks like a typo in the demo: I had mistyped the X-IC-Trigger-Data header.  I’ve fixed it locally and will ship out the fix this Friday.

As a side note, can you describe the situation you are dealing with so I can determine if there is another pattern that would help you?  Maybe URL dependencies, given that you mentioned multiple elements needing a refresh?  Not a big deal if you are happy with X-IC-Trigger, but I always like to see if a good example can offer people a more straight forward solution.

Cheers,
Carson

Hi Carson,

Thanks for the fast reply...no, I'm very happy with the X-IC-Trigger, but I will keep URL dependencies in mind for future!

Thanks again!

Chris
