I believe that you'll be forced to use IB 4.2.2 (which you can't buy
anywhere) since it works on IB 4.11. IB 5.6 for NetWare requires NetWare
4.2 or 5.0.

You'll have to do a backup and restore. You can't just copy the gdb file
over.

It is pretty straight forward. The main issues that you have to be aware of
are that you have to be logged in as an administrator level account because
the installer needs access to the system volume and that you have to
manually start the IB server at the server console (or use rconsole). All
of this is covered in the installation instructions that come with IB for
NetWare.
