RPM error installing InterBaseSS_LI-V6.0-1

When I try to install InterBaseSS_LI-V6.0-1.i386.rpm I'm getting the
following error:

cannot get shared lock on database
rpmQuery: rpmdbOpen() failed

The installation isn't completed but it saves some information on RPM
database, 'cause I'm forced to uninstall it.

I'm able to install InterBaseSS_LI-B6.0.rpm and interbase-6.0-1.i386.rpm

Anyone can help me on it?
