starting the server automatically on redhat

i'm using redhat 6.2. i've made a script to start and stop the server
automatically, but i can't add it as a service.

how to make interbase server as a service on redhat ?

Usually you create the appropriate slinks to your start/stop script
in the desired runlevel directories rc?.d.
You should be able to find them in /sbin/init.d
Just check how it is done for the other services.

and maybe
man init ; man inittab
