Hello there,

I need to export all the tables and records from an interbase 5.5 database
into an SQL Server v.7 database.

Has anyone got any experience in this field .. is there some sort of utility
that perform this?

I am a little confused at how I can go about doing this ..

Any help or information anyone can offer would be gratefully appreciated

Thanks.

Ian

You can transfer tables and records (I have) using DataPump, but if you have
triggers, stored procedures, etc., blobs, it's not a trivial thing to
convert to MSSQL Server. After you transfer, make sure that you check the
log to see that everything got transferred (usually there are some
conversion problem with indexes). Batchmove is another option but you would
have to use the original DDL to construct the MSSQL tables, etc.

I have been struggling for over a year on these courses until i started
using the online university courses

they have over 120 courses all taken online, and final exams

one course is only $20 per one months unlimited use.

check it out for yourself, I promise you wont be dissapointed
