This error occurs when connecting to a database.
What does it mean?

Vendor initialization failed
Cannot load an IDAPI service library
File: GDS32.DLL

alter the bde engine dll (oci.dll) and change driver for oracle 8.XX.
This will solve your problem.

Is it you have gone through the normal installation of the software like
interbase need
to install its software only can run.

I believe you are try to open a dataese where database driver is Sybase so
you need
to install the sybase software it will only can open.
