Winter Intention organizing starts on Sep 13 ! are you with us?

Hello out there, friends and fans of Intention Gathering!
We are considering doing Winter Intention this year, four
years after our last one (oh, that pesky pandemic!)
We had a very strong organizing team for Summer Intention a few
months ago <3
HOWEVER, not all of those people are able to help with Winter
Intention.
The energy for the event is definitely there in the community.
Still, we need a few more people to step forward, whether they are
ex-organizers from previous years, or have never done this
before. In fact, even if you haven't been to Intention multi-day
events at all, that is not a barrier.
We are having our first organizing meeting on Weds Sept 13 from
7-9pm, at a location still TBA (in Vancouver) and on Zoom.
(if you miss this meeting that's ok, we can onboard you quickly
enough over the next few weeks)
Please, come join us! All the resources you will need are there,
from the extensive google drive and website and other online
resources, to mentoring/training from existing experienced
organizers.
Note: there are plenty of positions where volunteering can be done
in a less intensive capacity, and/or with no actual duties until
the event itself. We always need sound techs, medics,
gate volunteers, and many other such positions. That will all be
taken care of later in the process. We do appreciate anyone
putting up their hand at any point and saying "yes I can do
that". In fact, all participants are asked to do a minimum of one
volunteer shift during the event, there are many options available
for volunteering.
What we specifically need at this point is: the people who are
willing to put in a few hours per week, attend the meetings
(approx once every two weeks in Oct/Nov and every week in Dec) and
actually have a role in creating the groundwork for this event.
Without you, we *cannot* proceed with the event, and that would be
a shame!

Our current organizing team is able to partially/fully cover the
following: sound/dj/music, decor, venue relations, and
website/registration, and some of the other tasks (who is
specifically doing what will be discussed on Sep 13). However
that still leaves many other areas where we could use some help!
Please be in touch if you think you can do this, or even a
"maybe".
