Hello everyone!
Due to ongoing rain issues, we have decided that the park is going to be
too wet to use Saturday afternoon, and it is very possible that it will
still be raining.
Therefore we have moved to an indoor location. The Labyrinth is at 2834
Trinity Street, in Hastings-Sunrise (near Renfrew and McGill). It has a
large living room (for DJs and dancing), a very large kitchen, chill
spaces... and a sauna! Huge thanks to the residents (some of whom you
might know already, from previous Intention events) for offering their home!
The updated event description below takes these new details into account.

Intention Gathering potluck and dance party
September 14th 3:00pm-10:30pm at 2834 Trinity Street (front door)
It’s time for another Intention Potluck and dance party! Save the date!
We are having it in a private residence in East Van.
Come between 3pm and 10:30pm on Saturday Sept 14 for fun and deliciousness.
If you want, bring a potluck item and your own plate / bowl / mug.
Potluck is optional, dancing is optional, just come and have fun,
whichever way you like!
DJ SCHEDULE:
4:00PM to 6:00PM canned DJ sets, for background and possible dancing
6:00PM to 7:30PM JPHanley
7:30PM to 9:00PM Indigo J
9:00PM to 10:30PM dj Phüze
Please LABEL and write out the ingredients of your homemade potluck
items for people with allergies & other dietary restrictions.
**ALLERGY ALERT: We have members of our community with severe,
life-threatening allergies!**
- One is deathly allergic to ANISE, FENNEL and LICORICE. please no
Kraken, Sambuca, Jagermeister, Bombay Sapphire, Indian Food or Chai (or
other things containing those things). We will post a full list of
potentially dangerous liquors in the event discussion.
- Another is severely allergic to PATCHOULI. Not usually found in
foodstuffs, but please make sure you aren't wearing any, or any mix
scents that contain it!
CAT ALLERGY ALERT: There is a cat in this house. The cat will be in
someone's bedroom but still, they do live there. Apologies to any who
are unable to attend because of this.
ACCESSIBILITY: there are a few steps at the front door, a wheelchair
could come up but only if someone carried it. The party is mainly on
the main level of the house.
NO SMOKING inside the house please!
We still need a couple of volunteers to help the hosts with setup at the
beginning, and also 3 or 4 people to help with clean up at the end of
the night. Please please!!
Please email potl...@intentiongathering.org if you can help with setup
or clean up. This helps us have more super long extravaganzas like this
in future!
