Summer Intention is the summer camp-out version of the famous Winter Intention retreat. Summer Intention is a four-day, three-night event where a village of all ages comes together to celebrate, share, workshop, perform, dance, play, heal, connect, share meals, and have fun. Intention is a time and space for being authentically ourselves in a dynamic, loving and inspirational community setting.

Delicious, healthy vegetarian dinners will be provided during the weekend as part of your ticket.

Intention gatherings incorporate dance parties, workshops, yoga, art, DIY culture, as well as shared meal times and spontaneous fun. Intention is a warm, wonderful, and special community offering events that many return to year after year. One of our community’s goals is to create a transformational container that continuously weaves our vibrant community together.

LOCATION

We have booked a beautiful, private venue near Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. More information about the location, directions will be sent to registrants before the event. It's a 20-minute drive from the ferry. We'll send the address to ticket holders.

This event takes place on the traditional, unceded, and illegally occupied territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the shíshálh (Sechelt) Nation. We have tremendous gratitude for this land and everything that it provides, and invite awareness and consideration of how and why the people of the nation of Canada have access to all of its beauty and abundance. We always strive to leave no trace and to protect the land where we gather.

CO-CREATION

Co-creation is an important aspect of Intention. Thus, as part of our events we ask all participants to contribute by signing up for a volunteer shift when they complete their registration. Contributions may include welcoming people at the gate, helping with decor, cooking community meals, being a calm presence at peer support, or helping to make sure we leave the land as beautiful as it was when we arrived. You can choose which parts of the event you feel called to support.

WORKSHOPS

Intention is an opportunity for individuals to share skills, magic and love with the community. This year, we hope to have many talented folks stepping up to offer their gifts at the gathering in the form of workshops. Every attendee at Intention is invited to give a workshop on whatever topic they desire.
