Winter Intention 2023 - Intention Extension, Jan 13th

Do you miss your friends from Intention Gathering events? Come to a reunion party this Saturday for Intention Extension!

This event is open to all who attended Winter Intention 2023, and anyone who attended any previous Intention event, and anyone who identifies with being Intention community, and the Intention-curious who haven't been to one of our events yet but would like to!

Alison has kindly offered to open her home (aka "The Bakery") to us for a potluck and dance party! Kids are welcome. Potluck from 5-7:30pm, then dancing late into the night!

INVITING OTHERS: if you have friends who you think would benefit from the Intention experience, yes you can invite them!  You can forward them this email, and the address;  just impress upon them that this event is still technically a private event, in someone's residence, so re-posting this anywhere is a no-no!  If they really want to join the FB event page, they certainly can, but they will need to join the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/441299509312476/ first.

CLEANUP: We are encouraging all attendees to clean up after themselves as much as possible.  We could use a couple of volunteers to help with misc. cleanup from the potluck, so that Alison doesn't have to do it!  If you are available for that, please talk to Alison once you are there at the potluck.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO: there are stairs and cats.

IF YOU'RE ATTENDING THE POTLUCK PORTION: Please bring a food or drink item to share with the community. Please LABEL and write out the ingredients of your homemade potluck items for people with allergies & other dietary restrictions.  Don't forget to wash your dishes & clean up after yourselves & others! We <3 our hosts!

ALLERGY ALERT: We have members of our community with severe, life-threatening allergies!

- One is deathly allergic to ANISE, FENNEL and LICORICE. please no Kraken, Sambuca, Jagermeister, Bombay Sapphire, Indian Food or Chai (or other things containing those things). We will post a full list of potentially dangerous liquors in the event discussion.

- Another is severely (like, get the epi-pen) allergic to PATCHOULI.  Not usually found in foodstuffs, but please make sure you aren't wearing any, or any mix scents that contain it!

- We have multiple people who are moderately to severely sensitive and/or allergic to many FRAGRANCES  Deodorant should be fine (though check for patchouli, some do contain it!) However please try to minimize your hair products, and avoid colognes and perfumes.   This will help a number of people to "breathe easier" (literally!)

CONSENT: We want everyone to feel comfortable and respected at our events. Ask first! And if you’re unsure about an interaction or unsure if you have consent, stop and ask. Remember, only an ongoing positive, enthusiastic response means Yes! If you would like support with an uncomfortable interaction at our events, please ask for an organizer.
