Intention Gathering Outdoor Potluck & Dance Party - Saturday Sept. 13 2025

Hey beautiful Intention Gathering People,
Summer is almost behind us. That’s why we’re having an Outdoor
Potluck & Dance Party! Come between 3pm and 9pm on Saturday,
September 13, 2025 for one last time to mingle, eat & dance
under the sun (and enjoy the sunset)!
DATE: Saturday, Sept. 13 2025
PLACE: A park in central East Van (easily accessible by bus;
details to be provided closer to the date)
TIME: 3PM - 9PM
We will send at least one more email with more details such as the
DJ list & set times, and other important details. Stay tuned!
Please bring a potluck item if you wish. And your own plate / bowl
/ mug, if possible.
If possible, LABEL and write out the ingredients of your homemade
potluck items for people with allergies & other dietary
restrictions.
**ALLERGY ALERT: We have members of our community with severe,
life-threatening allergies!**
One is deathly allergic to ANISE, FENNEL and LICORICE. please no:
Indian Food or Chai (or other things containing those things;
unless you are sure the ingredients are safe)
Another is severely allergic to PATCHOULI. Not usually found in
foodstuffs, but please make sure you aren't wearing any, or any
mix scents that contain it!
Also someone is life-threatening allergic to QUINOA and BUCKWHEAT!
you *can* bring dishes including those things if they are on a
separate table, with their own spoons, to prevent cross
contamination to any other dish. and *labelled* as such, of
course!
At the end of the event, please help out by disposing of any
litter and/or helping with a LNT sweep. And be considerate about
noise levels in the neighborhood on your way out.

Here is the more specific area that we plan to set up in. It’s near the community centre, just east of the basketball courts, south of the playground and north of the softball diamond.
If for some reason we can’t set up in that spot, someone will post an update on this page.
Facebook posts an address based on the pin on the map, but we are not planning to be in a building. We plan to be in the park. Use this map and the directions we post.
There are two parking lots. The parking lot at Trout Lake Community Centre is definitely closer to our location, but sometimes it is totally full. if you find that is the case, the other parking (in the South-East corner) always has room.
Better yet, bike, walk or take transit!
Bring your plate/bowl, eating utensils, cup, etc as we don't plan to bring disposables! Bring a blanket or chair if you want to sit.
