Hey everybody!
The festival of Holi is around the corner and we are back with the
natural Holi colours that began as part of the Safe festivals campaign
at Kalpavriksh. These colours are now being marketed around the
country by eCoexist, a social enterprise based in Pune. They are
manufactured by a group of women farmers of the Malnad Seed Collective
in Karnataka and get packaged by the women prisoners of the Yerawada
central Prison thus helping both groups to earn an additional income.
These colours are made on a base of turmeric and are safe for human
use and for children.
