IP Annual: Question

Hi everyone,

The IP Annual is almost done, I promise. I'm writing to ask a couple of things. First, if you have not sent me a brief bio for the Contributors section, please do so at your earliest convenience. Second, I have been thinking, mostly about what we heard in the IP Caucus meeting from Heather Joseph, and I want to change the Creative Commons license for this year's Annual to CC-BY (Attribution only). Previously it had been the just-a-step-up-from-fair-use Attribution-NoDerivs-Noncommercial, and I think it's time to get rid of that.

This change will make the IP Annual truly open access, and I'd write about that change in my editor's introduction, of course. Let me know what you think.

Hello AGAIN. 

Thanks for the support of the CC-BY plan. Since my last email, two things happened: 1. all of my kids had a stomach virus for a solid *week.* 2. On the heels of that, one of them spilled a tumbler of water on my computer, rendering it non-functioning. I haven't forgotten about the Annual, I promise.
